Subject:Update!
Time:9:55 am.
Mood: busy.
ok seeing as how i havent updated in a while heres a 3 song update. enjoy.

Janne Da Arc

Janne Da Arc-Ueru Ta Taiyou
I LUFF JANNE DA ARC! WHOOO! well, anyways this is the 4th single off the ANOTHER STORY album which is a great cd and of course this fourth single is a wonderful slow rock song with a lot of feeling. its not uber slow or anything but you can feel the longing in the song and the lead singers voice is just to die for. this is like i said a slower type song but the guitar and the speed of the chorus make it an all around rock your heart out song. if im not doing it wrong (which i probably am), then i can guess that the name refers to something like "hunger for the sun" or something like that. like my lovely audience tends to like to do, please correct me on anything i miss out on. thanks. well.. enjoy!

Max

Max-Love Screw
WOw. first single in a bit. well MAX is back with this new single. at first, i can honestly say, i was like what the hell is this?!! after FESTA i wasnt
really expecting this weird song with a weird like egyptian beat but then the more listened to it the more it got stuck in my head and then i loved it. damn
those max girls. well, this band orignally called amuro name and the supermonkeys soon became MAX and rocked the pop world with singles such as "together" and "never gonna stop it" of course this name changed occured cause they couldnt be namie amuro and the supermonkeys without namie amuro. she as many of you know has her own career and these girls were left behind but nonetheless they are stars. anyways, as i was saying this is
now a great song and has a good danceable beat. leave it to max to make a good single after 5 months. well there ya go. oh yeah. one more thing.
when you listen to this song, the girls are singing "peach" not "bitch" so dont get that confused if you hear it playing.

Ketsume

Ketsume-Sun

Wow ketsume is pretty damn good. i had no idea japanese reggae existed before this band came along. man i love this band. frankly before them i hated
most jrap and anything that sounded reggae in japanese, it just seemed dumb to think japanese people could rap or sing reggae but then of course i forget to mention "wadastumi no ki" by hajime chitose which was very reggae sounding and now im hooked. ketsume is an all japanese reggae band and if im not wrong me thinks they did "ketsumeishi no aizu" back a while ago which was good too. this single is a bob marley type mellow song that is really fitting to the name. its like sun on a beach just chilling and hanging out. its such a nice mellow song. if you are a fan or simply like reggae check this out.

Time:10:37 pm.
Ok another update. all i can say for this week. is some new stuff and some basic stuff. bare with me here. anyways. here ya go.

W-inds

Love Is Message

So today this is a very typical sounding W-inds song. first off id like to say that the title Love is message is completely bad english and falls under
the Engrish category. otherwise, the song is pretty good. its a pretty funky ballad of some sort. its not really a ballad but its not "because of you" so at least its soft. i still dont understand what "Love is message" is supposed to mean but the chorus proudly proclaims. nonetheless its a pretty good poppy song by this group of young rising stars. it has a little rap in it too but its a rather well rounded song especially after super lover which was just funky as hell, man. they keep spitting out the hits. welll. enjoy this song by them as it is yet another pure w-inds hit.

Double

Rollin' On

Ah the "driving all night" girls are back again and hitting as hard as usual. this new track is a complete club track. its danceable , its groovy
its hip hop and its DOUBLE. they even have loads of english in this song. they speak it pretty well too. i like this band. they have such good song but
yet arent as popular as morning musume but i suppose cuteness really does beat sexiness in japan. these girls are damn rite sexy and have such strong vocals. its a real american sounding song. check it out if you like those hip hop beats and that american sound.

Hinouchi Emi

Freak!

Wow this girl is back with another track. it started with "magic" which was a great upbeat pop song to "cry" which was a good ballad to this
new upbeat and inspiring sound for the latest, proclaming proudly "FREAK!". i think the name has something to do with freaking as in dancing and getting
down. shes really trying to start a party now isnt she. its a really good party sounding song and it makes me want to bob my head to the music. heavily
hip hop and a bit of pop, it really sounds utadaish and actually a lot more like the wonderful MISIA. nonetheless the way this girl is releasing tracks i can say that i want her cd now. its really good and her voice is powerful like utadas without all the breathing and her english is damn better than misias at time. anyways. to make it short. get it. now. or else.

Tsukiki Amano

Shark

as far as i know, this is the first time i have ever heard of this artist but then again i dont know every jpop/jrock artist in all of japan so blah.
anyways this rockish sounding song is sung by a sweet girl with powerful vocals and is quite fitting to the name. it sounds like something
you would hear as you passed by an ocean on a cliff or while surfing or something along those lines. it wasnt my favorite at first but the song slowly
sinks into you and then you start totally rocking out to her. she compares to the likes of nanase aikawa with that raw sounding voice and the
cracked out guitars. yet its poppish too but yeah. judge it for yourself.

Psychic Lover

Itsumo Te No Nakani
wow what a long name. i didnt even want to translate it. cause to me it was hard. from what i figure it says. someting about a medium hand or inside or something but lets let the experts figure it out. if one of you knows please tell me. id like to really know. anways. this song is rather well...interesting. it starts
out very pop rockish and is very glay on light days or even gackt without that nasal sound. they are mr children meets glay in some way. but they are just
so upbeaty on this song and i can say its rather smooth and rather likeable. there are no heavy guitars but instead alot of "ooh yeah". see if you can hear them and in a rather high pitched one too and also this is making no sense. anyways. download it. im not much for words. there ya go.

Sorry to all of you but the entry before pierrot is now gone. sorry.

Subject:More Music for Ya'll
Time:9:59 pm.
Mood: cheerful.
Here i am and ive considered all the requests. so here ya go. some songs im throwing in there as well. ENJOY~

Aiko

Andromeda

Aiko is well Aiko. She is a raw sounding pop star. her music is quite powerful and quite compelling. this song andromeda is really mellow and really catchy. it seems to go on and on in a world of stars and space. its just the guitar is consistent and her voice is so strong. its such a song that you listen to and you know why she named it what she did. it just sounds like falling stars, spinning moons and burning suns. i think this is a great single and it cant get any better.

Matsu Takako

Hontou no kimochi
This is a nice ballad by the "clover" girl herself. its well arranged and the strings are calming. i think snow or just peace with this song and her voice is a low but serene sound in this song and she can easily as pull off a ballad as a more upbeat song anyday.

Fukumimi

Summer of Love
Fukumimi is great. i believe this is a collaboration with many different artists, they are kinda like the jrock version of the J-friends. this band includes such
greats as Suga Shigao, Kyoko and Masayoshi Yamazaki. Last i heard of them was the single "10 years after" which was a jazzy beat and was quite catcy. this new single of the group goes along its name more and is very summery and happy. its a light hearted rock diddy following along the lines of TUBE whos summer hits carry that sort of lighthearted fun feeling. Thus this song is appropriately named "summer of love". Like Duh

Aiuchi Rina

Overshine

Aiuchi Rina. Well she is quite a singer now isnt she. her singles range from "Deep Freeze" to "Kaze No Nai De Dakashimete". Her biggest hits followed the more of a dance beat to them as does this new song. Over shine is formulated in the same way as her biggest hits and i suppose she figures its what got her this far. it begins with a keyboard entrance that speeds up as she sings quietly in the back. it then brings itself to a rock sort of sound and to the beginning of what sounds like her rapping but nonetheless quite nice. i prefer this song anyday over "kaze no nai de dakashimete" as that song just frankly bored the hell out of me. this one is upbeat and happy. i like that from her. so yeah.

Hirai Ken

Style

Hirai! Well the master of hits is back again, after "gaining thru losing", "ring", "ohkina no furukudei" and "strawberry sex" last year he comes this time around with this new song. its fast, its upbeat and it carries a bit of dance and hip hop. this "style" for him is quite familiar for him and of course that somewhat nasal voice of his is powerful and delivers this fast paced song with ease. for those hirai fans, you wont be dissapointed, those who arent will gladly accept this mainstream sound.

Subject:UPDATE!
Time:9:56 am.
Mood: awake.
i couldnt help it. these songs are gonna get old soon if i dont put them up so heres a small update.

B'z

Wild Energy
Fast paced rock. B'z. how much more can i say?

Travel the stars Everyday
diffrent feel of course. i dont know why these are so short. but sounds very 80's and is actually more of a rock and roll slower feel. interesting. but then i listened to it for like a total of 10 seoonds before i had to go. so enjoy.

Hitomi Shimatani

Perseus

this song is interesting. begins with a very asian strings feeling and starts a little traditional in its style kind of like lyricos "kiseki no hana" and then rapidly rises into a really more of a techno style beat of a song. its rather fast paced and could be on a video game soundtrack but nonetheless its a pretty good song. the fast beat is great and Shimatani's voice is just spectacular. like always.

La Fiesta
Sounds like falling snow or something. but it has a latin feel to it. like the name proclaims its a party but not very fast paced at all. it sounds more romantic than party like so the name doesnt quite fit it. nonetheless its interesting and worth a listen.

Frankly i have been having way too much stuff happening in my life.
im not gonna bother you with it and im sure you guys gave up on me.
but here i am again. i hope to keep updating as updating=happy life.
well here you go.

Namie Amuro

----Put Em Up

Here she goes again with a new single. The returning queen of Jpop comes back with a new hit. She made the charts with "shine more" and this one is sure to climb as well. Its a diddy with pure hip hop beats and the deep alluring voice of Amuro herself. Her style is changing once again and you are sure to like this one.

----Exist For You

This one is the b-side to her latest hit and is a softer r an b ballad. Its quite generic in its stylings but it holds itself up as a namie classic. its still rather nice to listen to and is a very romantic song with amuro heavenly crooning "i exist for you" in that sexy voice she has. this one is a rather good partner to the more heavily beated "put em up" and expect this song to be a favorite when her album releases.

Exile

----Let me love you down feat Zee

This is actually a pretty good sounding song. it seems to feature the lead singer of Zeebra who is a great rapper whose single "Big Big Money" was my personal fave. he was brill as are Exile. Thier hits range from "Cross" to "Together" and each one has its own flavor. they may seem at first to be some cheesy rap band but these guys are full of soulful rhythm and blues beats and know how to belt out a note. check out this new song and see for yourself.

----Together (Rollin mix)

Together was such a great song. this mix is the b-side to the "LET ME LOVE YOU DOWN" single and features heavy hip hop beats making this song an all around good mix of the original. for those who like a heavier hip hop feel, this mix is ready to please. i wouldnt say its the best remix but nonetheless it does serve as at least some filler for thier single. check it out and judge it yourself.

Takui

----Re-Set

now to change the beat a little beat, we go from r and b and hip hop to just some great jrock. wow this song is just a great song. i fell in love with the song and artist. i would say this song is equivalent to what we call punk over here but its just great jrock to me. the guy has such a great song and for some reason he reminds me of Kotani kinya in how powerful but light his voice is. its not miyavi and its gackts highpitched yells buts right in the middle. soothing and all around a great song. i recommend this artist and his latest single to EVERYONE. this song is lurvley and i think you will say the same once you hear it. great guitar, mellow and exciting. DOWNLOAD IT NOW!

----Lambretta

Well, now this b-side is interesting. it begins quite hard and is a lot more upbeat than Re-Set but nonetheless its a great complement as this one is harder and challenges his vocals a bit more. the guitar riffs are incredible and its such a catchy ass song. it seems so 80's to me and its hard but its also mellow but to me its just great Rock and roll. this artist is definitely making it in my mind and he has such great vocals that it leaves me in awe. watch out gackt! here comes Takui to take your place. as a complement to the other song, i say download this one too.

<div style="position:absolute left="5px" top=5px" width="166">

Hirai Ken

Allrite so i have come back with a new look and new energy. i have decided to put hirai ken at the top of my list and of course make an icon...thus today we have the new single and its bside by hirai ken.

Ken hirai-Another story
Quite a nice song off of Hirai Ken's Life is... album. This ballad follows his trademark pop style songs that were constant in the gaining thru losing album but yet again Hirai shows in "Another story" that he can pull of the high vocals that most of his songs required him to have. A beautiful song but not any different from his previous singles. Nonetheless its a beautifully composed and arranged song that deserves a litte listening to.

Ken Hirai-Twinkling
Here ya go this is the Bside to "Another story" and has more of an R & b feel to it than "another story". this song is very reminiscent of what made Hirai ken a superstar of course besides his ravishing looks. it begins quite slow but as it goes on it picks up to a steady pace. Again, his voice contributes greatly to making this song a very good song. yet again this is a ballad with that more soulful feeling and ken hits every note precisely and beautifully. this song also has an american structure and one thing i noticed right in the beginning is that it begins almost like if it were a winter or christmas song. anyways, i reccomend this other hirai song too.

Ken Hirai is one of the top japanese singers. His singles from "gaining thru losing", "strawberry sex" and his recent ones "ring and "ohkina no furukudei" have all hit the charts in the top 10 and higher. Born in Osaka, japan in 1972 he began his career in 1995 with the release of his debut album Un-balanced and his first single precious junk at the age of 23 years old.
He is 100% japanese but at first sight he can look almost completely or part european. this look makes him stand out from the rest of the singers as well as his upbeat r&b to pop style songs and his nasal voice. Always pleasing the ladies and his fans, Ken hirai continues releasing the hits and being the great singer he is.

Subject:On the RADIO://Mikiko://Sowelu
Time:7:19 pm.
Mood: chipper.
Wow today i have three songs for ya,the updates today:
Last entries have been deleted.
3 new songs today.

Yuki Koyanagi-ON THE RADIO (Japanese version) WoW! we have really good song here today. i am currently in love with this song and its on repeat on my cd player. W00T. geez..well the way i can describe this song is that is has a really kinda disco feel to it but with a modern 90's mix. what i know about this song is that it was originally sung by Selena and this is the japanese version of it sung by Yuki. I havent really heard the original but she does a really good job of covering this song. Koyanagi has also really good english and heavy kinda husky voice but it works extremely well with the song. what i have noticed about her is that she seems to sing kinda discoish dance poppy songs which her voice works with very well but also she has some really good ballads i have heard so i guess she s just a good singer. anyways..this song i would highly reccomend to everyone.

Yuki koyanagi
She realeased her first material back in 1999 with a song called "you were mine" at the age of 17. She has an amazing voice, having a range higher than any japanese singer yet. Personally i dont think anyone can really compare to her voice. this is my knowledge of this singer and of course i really want to know more. too bad i dont know japanese but what i do reccomend is getting her new cover album "Koyanagi the disco" which is a cover album by her but its gonna be great.

Mikiko-Hikari~north train~ Ok so this is more of a ballad unlike the Yuki song and is incredibly powerful as well. the title Ligth~north train~ is quite interesting, at this point i dont really know what she is referring to really but its a nice orchestral sounding ballad. pretty much arranged the same way as other ballads but it has a distinct sound almost like Chihiro Onitsuka's "LITTLE BEAT RIFLE" if im not wrong. its slow and actually quite pretty. her vocals like i said are pretty powerful and shes not too nasal nor squeaky like other singers. in a way i think mai kuraki or some other singer when i hear her, kinda an r and bish voice. Same arrangement as others, slow, powerful but nonetheless pretty. good relaxing song.

Mikiko I must be really behind or something but i havent really heard much of her and i could say shes not too well known compared to other mainstream singers but nonetheless she reaches that status. she released her first single in 2002 so she doesnt have much time but i believe that shes a good singer with enough talent to break into mainstream. she released this first single at the age of 20 and has released about 4 more after that. up to this point i dont know that much as most of the bios are in japanese but be looking out for future releases by her.

Sowelu-Rainbow (original mix) This song is really a happy song. a pop song in every form, it has a good beat and sounds very american. if christina aguilera was japanese, shed be sowelu. they just sound sort of alike, very pop oriented and very upbeat. its actually quite expected by her since shes more of a happy pop person. her voice is a little high but fits with the overall feel of the song. Wow "rainbow", i wonder if people aren gonna get this song title confused with Ayumi's "rainbow". personally i like the former.

Sowelu is a 21 year old singer that was born in the city of tokyo. she likes to watch movies and to dance. her blood type is o and she has brown hair. LOL. that was so way too boring but she is alos a great singer. her first single called "better days" was released a year or two ago and she then released another single called "beautiful dreamer" and then sang with Voice of Korea/Voice of Japan in the hit track "lets get together now" currently she added her part in the Smooth album.

Subject:BOYSTYLE://Tomomi Kahara
Time:7:06 pm.
Two songs today. One is pop and the other is pop rock. Im not gonna say much because you probably want to get to the songs so here they are.

BOYSTYLE-Empty World

This first song is a rather generic sounding one. When i first heard it I thought of the Early 90's and bands like Ace of Base, No Doubt and other such 90's style bands. I cant say this song does not have a beat to it and that it is not catchy because I would then be lying and who would believe me after i lied? Yet, for thier 4th single it sounds just a little bit too debutish and not really fitting for the times. I swear that when they say "Empty world" in the song it sounds like that song by Ace of Base that goes,"All that she wants/is another baby/shes gone tommorow" or something like that. Actually the right name is "All that she wants" and if you dont believe me then go download this song, listen to it and download ace of base and listen to that and then tell me im wrong. Its just so Ace of Base to hear this song and its in JAPANESE!!! so if you really liked AcE of Base or the music of the 90's this song is rather good. Yet what i realized about them is that they sound and remind me of MAX and EARTH///both very good bands mind you..but it sounds like if EARTH had come out during the early 90's they would have sounded like this. its just so fitting to the times but then again this is a NEW single so its a twist on what we are used to. Yet, typical girl band sounding and the lead singer has an ok voice..not too special but good for the sound of the song.

Bio: This Band consists of four girls, despite the name being BOYSTYLE, and they are as follows: Kayoko Uehara,Yukina Kawata,Asami Tano,Eri Murakawa and suprise surpise, they are all 15 and 16 years old.Thier First single Boys Be Stylish!was made back in july of 2002 and since then they have released three more singles. Since i cant read japanese thats all the info i have on them presently.

This is a pop rocky sorta song that begins with a cute little intro that sounds a little disco to me. Pretty slow tempo but its really cute. Its actually a really good song and she reminds me of a bit of HITOMI just with not as annoying as HITOMI has. Pretty standard pop rock song if i can say so myself.
Yet again it seems very out of the period, almost a 60's or some other period of that sort, it just sounds like that pop idol music is coming back. Watch out its TOMOMI KAHARA!!! BLING BLING! Its actually though quite reminiscent of again of groups that existed in the 90's with those disco sounding beats in the back. Overall though its a song worth checking out for its cuteness.

Bio:SCrew this section. i couldnt find anything. ill check it out later...latah.
